Weddings at Stony Hill

setup for a wedding

Stony Hill is a unique venue for a wedding. Stony Hillʼs facilities and extensive gardens, decks and patios, means that there are likely to be several different areas within the grounds ideal for your needs. For example, up to forty guests can be seated for a ceremony on our pool deck which is shaded by a large Mango Tree. For larger (or smaller) numbers guests can be seated on the lawn perhaps under marquees. Similarly, for a reception, we can seat up to thirty people on our covered patio, up to fifty in our covered court-yard, and up to one hundred and seventy five under marquees. If you plan a cocktail style reception many more guests can be accommodated.
Stony Hill has a fully equipped professional kitchen and uses the services of an accomplished executive chef. We can plan a menu for cocktails, a BBQ, a buffet or a plated meal. We can also advise on drinks. We can suggest experts to make your cake, to provide flowers and other decorations and for photography and videography.

We can arrange all types of music - a pan group, a live band, a solo sax or guitarist and or a DJ for example. For entertainment, demonstrations of fire eating and limbo dancing are deservedly popular.

For couples travelling from overseas with an entourage we can arrange an informal dinner or BBQ after a ceremony rehearsal, to enable the wedding party in particular, to familiarize themselves with the site prior to the important day.
